DvDeep The Red Sea
DvDeep consumer products are interactive diving guides; a new
and different product that, as soon as it landed in the market, has
received excellent reviews from specialized media. DvDeep THE RED
SEA is the first interactive DVD from a series that will be soon
extended.
It is neither a convetional DVD nor a collection of virtual
images, but a guide with real images and filmings, 32 dive charts in
the Red Sea, 28 video clips from these dives, information on
travelling to Egypt and Sudan, and an innovative biology section
with over 250 photographs of the most common species to be found
when diving tin the Red Sea.
Divers will find an attractive interface to select their dives in
either Egypt or Sudan, information about both countries, and
biology.

coordinates, orientation with respect to North, currents, best time of
year, depths, fees, diving level, and more.

|
You will find a real -not virtual- video
clip for every diving site, filmed on location, that will show you
what you can expect in this dive, both for Egypt and Sudan.
Famous dives such as Big
Brother, Elphinstone, Claudio Caves, Precontinent II, the Umbría,
the Blue
Bell, or the Thistlegorm, among others, can be found in DvDeep The
Red Sea. The clips about wrecks and Precontinent II contain an
interesting explanation of the history of the wreck. |
| Besides, DvDeep offers an innovative
Bioliogy section with a classification (patent pending) based on
colors, what makes it easy to identify the species you spotted in
your dives. The species easily identified by their shape (sharks,
corals, turtles, mammals, mantas, etc.) have their own entry. Click
on the image to see an example of the species guide. Once there,
click on any species to access its record. |
